Job Summary
Lead the strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's safety program while partnering with Operations Leadership to embed safety into every project phase. Serve as the subject matter expert on safety and risk management, guiding training, compliance, and field engagement across all operations. Conduct jobsite inspections, safety assessments, and high-risk reviews to identify hazards and implement corrective actions, while leading incident investigations to ensure root cause analysis and communication of lessons learned. Track and analyze safety metrics to provide leadership with trends and recommendations for data-driven improvement. Build and sustain a strong safety culture by engaging employees, subcontractors, and project teams in AWC's initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- CHST, ASP, or a comparable construction safety certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
- CSP
- 10 years of commercial construction experience
- 5 or more years in a construction safety leadership role
