Job Summary
Manage product regulatory data and ensure compliance with global requirements for classification, labeling, transport, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Maintain chemical composition and product data in SAP-EHS, determine product classification and labeling, and prepare, maintain, and periodically review SDS in line with Solvay standards and regulatory requirements. Assess regulatory changes to update documentation and determine transport classifications for road, rail, inland waterways, air, and sea transport. Author and maintain European Exposure Scenarios. Partner with Global Product Stewards to implement product regulatory changes and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal procedures. This role directly reports to the PRS Operations Manager within Solvay's Product Regulations and Stewardship team, supporting global business operations with a hybrid working model.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Science, or a related field
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs, Safety Data Sheets, Product Stewardship, or similar
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets regulations and requirements as well as SAP EH&S
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills
- Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Collaboration and teamwork, as well as accountability and integrity
- Proactive communication and planning, demonstrating curiosity to learn and with solution-oriented mindset
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Permanent contract based on hybrid working mode (2 days a week at the office)
Desired Qualifications
