Job Summary
Develop and implement safety policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee accident investigations, complete required OSHA reporting, and conduct safety inspections to identify injury prevention opportunities. Manage customer system compliance, deliver training and orientation to clients, and review safety standards for continuous improvement. Collaborate with management and stakeholders to drive a strong safety culture. Requires a Bachelor's degree in health and safety, knowledge of regulatory codes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety or other equivalent practice
- Knowledge of Federal and State safety regulations
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Outgoing personality, self-motivated
- Excellent customer service, telephonic, electronic, and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with, persuade, and gain buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders from a new crew to senior executive leader
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision
- Must embrace a team based, initiative driven environment
- Must possess a level of technical expertise

Desired Qualifications
