Job Summary
Tour and inspect construction job sites to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal OSHA rules. Report concerns to safety management and coordinate programs to meet health and safety standards. Document inspections, cite dangerous areas, and recommend corrective procedures for non-compliance issues. Train less-experienced safety employees as needed. Ensure cited issues are corrected within designated timeframes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental Applied Sciences, three years of construction safety experience, and OSHA 10, 30, and 40-hour certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working as a Safety professional in a construction environment
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- OSHA 10hr training
- OSHA 30hr training
- OSHA 40hr training
- Excellent working knowledge of health and safety management systems
- Knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards
- Knowledge of state construction safety regulations
