Job Summary
Lead university-wide initiatives to identify, analyze, and mitigate operational and reputational risks. Administer the university's insurance program, manage claims, and assist the director with safety inspections. Foster a "risk-aware" culture across all academic and administrative departments while completing all other tasks assigned by the director. This role supports Southeastern Louisiana University's mission to lead regional educational, economic, and cultural development within a close-knit community of over 13,000 students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Business, or a related field
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
