Job Summary
Provide on-site safety supervision, coordination, and guidance to commissioning, maintenance, and construction crews while performing field audits, hazard analysis, and compliance inspections. Coach employees, lead toolbox talks, and conduct root cause investigations for incidents. Manage occupational injury cases, collaborate with insurance providers on claims, and support return-to-work programs. Maintain training matrices, develop safety procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance across Saskatchewan operations. Work a 7/7 rotational schedule with 12-hour shifts and camp accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to job sites
- 5+ years of safety experience in construction, industrial, maintenance, or electrical environments
- Experience supporting field-based or multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan and Canadian OHS regulations
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and coach teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
- 7/7 shift availability
- 12-hour workday availability
- Camp accommodation availability while on rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- Professional safety designation (e.g., NCSO, CRSP)
