Job Summary
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across all properties to ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, Tribal Law, and Ordinance Codes. Investigate workplace incidents to identify root causes, document findings, and support corrective action planning while assisting with Workers' Compensation processes and light duty coordination. Coordinate and deliver required safety training sessions, including Powered Industrial Truck operations and respiratory protection fit testing, maintaining accurate records in compliance with OSHA and Tribal requirements. Prepare OSHA 300/300A/301 logs, manage Safety Data Sheets, and serve as the primary trainer for the monthly Safety Committee. Respond to guest safety concerns and communicate updates to team members. Requires 2-4 years of safety experience, an OSHA 30 certification, and a Class III Gaming License.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in safety coordination or similar safety-focused role
- OSHA 30
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License
- Ability to become fit test trained for respiratory safety
- Powered Industrial truck (Forklift) Train-the-Trainer certification or ability to obtain
- Current and valid driver's license with the ability to qualify for the UIDC's Drivers Program
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
- Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree
