Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator role contributes to a safe manufacturing environment by developing and implementing safety policies, conducting inspections and audits, providing training on safety protocols and hazardous materials handling, investigating incidents, and maintaining records. Responsibilities include OSHA compliance, creating and updating safety programs, facilitating emergency response planning, coordinating safety training, performing risk assessments, ensuring access to PPE and safety equipment, and communicating safety information to management and staff. The position requires strong organizational and project coordination skills, effective communication across teams, familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures, and proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; candidates should demonstrate knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation capabilities, and the ability to lead safety initiatives across multiple teams in an office-based role within a manufacturing setting.
