Safety Coordinator needed for utility construction. Requires experience in power line safety, OSHA compliance, and safety training. Must have high school diploma, 2 years experience, and prefer safety certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as safety coordinator in the power line construction industry
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices
  • Experience in reporting and developing policies
  • OSHA 30 Training
  • CUSP certification or OSHA training certification
  • Experience in implementing OSH training programs
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent with an analytical mind
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Safety Management or related field
  • Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO)
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
  • Safety Management Specialist (SMS)
  • Specialist in Safety and Health (SSH)
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Additional Requirements

  • MVR qualifies individual to be an approved company driver
