Safety Coordinator

Drive personal accountability to improve safety performance across business segments and serve as a liaison between management and employees on safety-related issues. Provide safety training to employees, supervisors, and managers, including new hires. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and field observations to identify hazards and risks, recommending corrective actions and communicating follow-ups to supervision. Coordinate safety equipment inspections, assist in updating District safety policies, and document training and incident reports. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence while collaborating with safety specialists to ensure policy compliance. Provide safety support for operations in pump stations, collection, and treatment plants, occasionally working outside normal hours.
