Job Summary
Safety Coordinator plans, organizes, coordinates, and helps implement comprehensive safety programs and activities; assists with safety training requirements; inspects facilities/departments for safety compliance; and performs administrative tasks to support Leadership Teams. Responsibilities include coordinating the Injury and Illness Prevention Program, Safety Participation Program, safety inspections, and KPI tracking; managing DMV Pull Notice and Fleet GPS systems; handling Pressure Vessel Permit and Safety Participation Program duties; coordinating Hearing Conservation Testing; scheduling Driver Safety trainings; conducting safety inspections and incident investigations; translating documents to Spanish; delivering safety training in English and Spanish; updating Workplace Postings and 300A logs; providing PPE and safety support to operations; and traveling to sites as needed. Bilingual in English and Spanish; proficient in MS Office; strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED. A.A. or A.S. degree preferred.
- 1 – 2 years experienced in administrative program or office management.
