Job Summary
Implement and monitor safety management programs across New Bridge Medical Center facilities, administering the day-to-day operations of the Respirator Program including N95 fit testing, training, and qualitative/quantitative assessments. Lead the ergonomic program by developing train-the-trainer initiatives, performing staff evaluations, maintaining equipment inventories, and tracking injury trends for management reporting. Drive sustainability efforts through annual applications to regulatory agencies, developing budgets, and organizing departmental recycling champions. Conduct investigations into employee incidents, maintain accreditation documentation, and respond to fire alarms and emergencies on a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of progressively more responsible related work experience in healthcare-based Environment of Care and Emergency Management experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.), and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc)
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to exhibit timely decision-making and adaptive leadership experience under stressful conditions
- Requires to be available 24 hours/ 7 days a week to respond to fire alarms
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in ergonomic evaluations

- Fire/sprinkler experience
- active member of a fire department
