Job Summary
The Safety Coordinator at Horizon Behavioral Health is responsible for inspections and compliance with safety regulations in ICF homes. Requires an associate's degree in occupational safety, a year of experience, and offers benefits including VRS participation and education discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or associate’s degree in occupational safety & health or relevant field
- One year of experience with occupational safety
- Ability to complete and maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Ability to travel to different work sites as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in public safety or code compliance
- Knowledge of safety and health standards, regulations, and codes
- Knowledge of NFPA Life Safety Code
- Knowledge of Virginia fire codes
- Ability to plan and present safety training programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Vizio
- Ability to inspect and evaluate complex safety problems and issues
