• •Must be onsite at a key technology clients Data Center construction project in Waddell, Arizona

• •Must be able to identify hazards and intervene or escalate as appropriate to address safety concerns
• •Must be able to perform administration and management functions as appropriate to ensure compliance with local safety laws, codes and ordinances
• •Must be able to maintain safety documentation and archives for the project
• •Must be able to provide training, mentoring, technical support and coaching for Safety Representatives as assigned
• •Must be able to create a Site-Specific Safety Plan and Crisis Management Plan
• •Must be able to review the subcontractors' Site-Specific Safety Plans for completeness and relevancy
• •Must be able to verify that subcontractors implement their Site-Specific Safety Plans
• •Must be able to develop new hire orientation program with a focus on safety culture, site awareness, setting of expectations, education and personal accountability
• •Must be able to conduct new hire orientation for all team members, including client's employees, subcontractor employees, vendors and other site visitors
• •Must be able to observe work activities on site several times a day and evaluate whether they are performed safely
• •Must be able to document both positive and corrective safety observations in the company safety
• •Must be able to ensure safety violations are corrected
• •Must be able to support and encourage other team members to perform safety audits and ensure their observations are properly documented in the Company safety software
• •Must be able to contact Safety Director immediately, organize an opening conference and attend/support/document audit process
• •Must be able to support Project Foreman with the development of their pre-task plans and job hazard
• •Must be able to organize, host and/or facilitate technical safety trainings required to support client's field
• •Must be able to clarify safety rules and provide technical expertise and solutions to safety challenges on
• •Must be able to review trending analysis in safety software and recommend corrective measures to site management
• •Must be able to ensure injured party gets immediate care as appropriate for the severity of the injury
• •Must be able to notify Safety Director immediately for support, and notify other key stakeholders as outlined in the EH&S program
• •Must be able to conduct thorough accident investigation, including witness statements, photographs, environmental conditions and any other relevant factors
• •Must be able to organize and conduct an Incident Analysis
• •Must be able to identify and document all contributing factors and institute training, policy or procedural changes to address
• •Must be able to provide support of claims management by staying connected to injured employees and coordinating light duty assignments
• •Must be able to lead morning Safety Huddles efficiently and effectively with a team-oriented and participatory approach
• •Must be able to identify hazards and include an ergonomic warm up
• •Must be able to be a vocal safety leader, frequently praising good safety behavior and quickly correcting unsafe behaviors
• •Must be able to respond to every safety suggestion
• •Must be able to be professional at all times, consistently modeling safe work behaviors
• •Must be able to escalate issues quickly if necessary and ask for management's support in addressing site risks and/or personnel problems
• •Must be able to identify employees whose actions and decisions represent high-risk behaviors
• •Must be able to implement progressive accountability policy to address and modify these unsafe behaviors
• •Must be able to partner with the owners' and subcontractors' safety professionals, as appropriate, collaborating and communicating as a team in the safe execution of the work
• •Must be able to develop an organizational system and keep all safety related documentation readily available for use by crews, management and/or compliance officers
• •Must be able to ensure required equipment training is conducted and documented
• •Must be able to document all technical training and issue training cards to
• •Must be able to ensure job site postings are compliant with laws, regulations and ordinances
• •Must be able to document daily work environment in daily progress
• •Must be able to maintain records of completed pre-task plans and JHAs
• •Must be able to review requested subcontractor safety documentation for completeness and compliance with client's policies, and regulatory and owner requirements
• •Must successfully complete OSHA 30-hour training
• •Must complete CPR, AED and first aid
• •Must keep certification card current
• •Must complete the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) course through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (or equivalent coursework)
• •Must be able to seek coaching in managing job site issues
• •Must be able to expand technical knowledge
