Job Summary
Safety Coordinator supports the Safety Manager in developing, implementing, and continuously improving workplace safety programs. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization. It conducts training, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations to proactively identify and mitigate hazards, and collaborates with HR, Operations, and Maintenance to drive safety initiatives and improve workplace conditions in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
