Job Summary

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combinations of training and related experience
  • Three to five years construction safety experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Ability to develop and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a culture of safety awareness and cooperation among team members
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records
  • Knowledge of Cal OSHA and related legislation, ensuring compliance in all safety-related activities
  • Experience in conducting meticulous inspections to meet regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • OSHA 500 Course-preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Proven experience in documenting safety incidents, accidents, and near misses
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to tailor training programs to meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical skills to assess safety risks and identify appropriate solutions
