Safety Coordinator

Job Summary
Safety Coordinator to plan and implement OSHA policies and programs, conduct risk assessments, prepare reports on accidents and violations, oversee safety in manufacturing and fleet settings, and develop educational seminars/webinars. Travel to other branches (10-15%) is required. Must have 2-4 years of relevant experience, a Degree/Certificate in HSE and/or OSHA30, and Spanish as a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication, organizational, and safety-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role
- Using initiative, discretion, and judgment within established procedures, guidelines, and rules
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Inspecting lifting equipment; determine repairs; and estimate costs
- Effectively utilizing computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills
- Organizational and good time-management skills
