Job Summary
Answer phone calls, emails, and take messages for department personnel. Enter and track Supervisor Expectation Programs including line meetings, daily PPE verifications, safety observations, training status, and investigation reports. Log and trend safety observations, maintain the accident record system, and investigate accidents to check corrective measures. Conduct weekly and daily plant inspections to uncover unsafe practices, assist with implementing new safety management systems, and supervise monthly and annual training classes. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and company policies on industrial safety and health. Assist the complex safety manager in setting standards for personal protective equipment and machine guarding, and approve designs for new and modified equipment before operation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Self-Starter

- Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
- Team Player
- Computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Qlikview, Alchemy
- Trustworthy
- Good attendance record
