SAFETY COORDINATOR- 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Answer phone calls, emails, and messages for department personnel while tracking Supervisor Expectation Programs, line meetings, daily PPE verifications, safety observations, and investigation reports. Log and trend safety observation forms, maintain the accident record system, and investigate near misses, first aid, and recordable property reports to ensure corrective measures prevent reoccurrence. Conduct weekly and daily plant inspections to uncover unsafe work practices, assist in implementing new safety systems, and supervise monthly and annual training classes. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, approve equipment designs, and develop ergonomics programs. Requires a high school diploma, computer skills in Microsoft Office and Qlikview, and bilingual ability preferred.
