Job Summary
Safety Coordinator responsible for implementing safety programs on construction projects, coaching crews and site supervision to improve safety culture, conducting daily field walks, compiling safety audits and incident investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key duties include developing job hazard analyses, documenting ORM boards, delivering site safety orientations, overseeing subcontractor safety compliance, conducting periodic tool and equipment inspections, and maintaining thorough safety records. Requires OSHA 30 Construction certification, 1-3 years in construction safety, and strong communication skills; CPR/FA certification and bilingual ability are advantageous. Works day and night shifts with overtime and weekends as project schedules dictate; travel to various site locations is expected.
