Job Summary
Lead safety programs, regulatory compliance, training, incident investigations, and risk management across multiple operating locations; develop and maintain safety policies, conduct audits and risk assessments, identify hazards and implement corrective actions; coordinate regulatory inspections, perform root cause analyses, develop corrective and preventive action plans, deliver safety and onboarding training, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture and operational risk reduction; partner with operations leadership to strengthen accountability, and support projects related to workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in safety, compliance, risk management, mining, construction, industrial operations, manufacturing, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Experience conducting investigations and root cause analyses
- Experience developing and delivering training programs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and influence positive change
- Professional safety certifications (preferred)
- Experience managing multi-site safety programs (preferred)
- Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements (preferred)
