Job Summary
Maintain organized documentation, track inspections, and test records while ensuring materials, equipment, and processes comply with technical tools, SOPs, and QC/QA protocols. Proactively enter critical regulatory information into required systems, safeguarding internal standards and submission quality. Identify risks to deadlines or submission integrity and implement practical strategies to mitigate them through active management of status and deliverables. This role supports quality control operations for a heavy industrial/commercial construction contractor with nationwide operations, requiring experience in industrial construction settings and proficiency in Bluebeam, SharePoint, and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in industrial construction setting
- At least one year in clerk role supporting a job site or assigned to a job site
- Proven success in compiling and filing regulatory submissions
- Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills in multicultural settings
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a succinct and logical manner
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong ability to generate innovative solutions to complex regulatory problems
- Ability to effectively work with and communicate with key stakeholders
- Able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Commitment to maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy in all documentation and reporting
- Experience in Bluebeam
- Experience in Sharepoint
- Experience in O365
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds
- Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas
- Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age
- Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds
