Job Summary
Conduct regular facility inspections to verify safe job practices, proper protective equipment usage, and operational machine guards. Inspect fire extinguishers, eye washes, and first aid kits while maintaining the Beck's DOT program for federal compliance. Train current and new employees on job-appropriate safety protocols and communicate with the Safety Department and location leads regarding safety, human relations, and operational needs. Report any safety, health, environmental, or other problems immediately to the safety team. Requires a high school or college degree, First Aid and CPR certification, and two years of health and safety experience. Some travel throughout the year is required, including trips to field shows in August.
Required Qualifications
- High School or College degree
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and company safety policies and regulations
- Two years experience in the health and safety field
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Must submit to a drug test and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum Chauffeur License
- Two years experience in the health and safety field preferred
