Job Summary
Lead site-level safety and training programs while serving as acting leader during the absence of the Operations Supervisor or Superintendent. Ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and company standards through proactive oversight, documentation management, and developing site-specific compliance programs. Conduct employee onboarding, safety meetings, and field coaching to reinforce safe work practices, while investigating incidents, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to site and corporate leadership. Complete any other duties assigned to fulfill job requirements. Work an 8-12 hour day shift with some weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Hear and have good vision
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
- Work may involve protected and monitored exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, or other environmental conditions typical of an industrial facility
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
- Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
- Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
- Carry 20 pounds while walking
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Stand 8-12 hours per day
- Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
- Some weekends required
