Job Summary
Patrol the entire property, documenting rounds and investigating accidents or incidents to submit detailed reports. Respond to fire and other emergency situations while administering First Aid and CPR as needed. Administer and maintain locking systems throughout the facility, and initiate measures to improve or maintain safety and security standards. Investigate complaints and notify law enforcement authorities when necessary. This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and one year of security-related experience. Candidates must obtain First Aid/CPR, RAMP, and potentially EMT certifications, along with Pennsylvania State Police criminal history and child abuse clearances. Shifts rotate between 8 AM to 4 PM, 4 PM to midnight, and midnight to 8 AM, with holidays, weekends, and occasional overtime required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR and RAMP certifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services
- Ability to submit fingerprint-based federal criminal history through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI)
- Knowledge of criminal and federal law
- Knowledge of fire and safety regulations pertaining to hotels
- Proven employee/guest relations skills

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in criminal justice/safety/security-related field
- One year of security-related experience
