Safety and Security Manager

Manages planning, development, implementation, and oversight for safety, security and transportation programs for the Center. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, students and visitors by establishing and enforcing policies and supervising security staff. Develop, implement, and maintain safety, security and transportation plans and procedures; coordinates the Center’s emergency preparedness plan; conducts inspections and drills; liaises with local law enforcement, fire and code officials; trains personnel in safety procedures including first aid/CPR; maintains vehicle logs and oversees transportation scheduling; ensures compliance with DOT, OSH, DOL guidelines and Center policies; participates in safety committees and supports students’ employability in the program.
