Job Summary
The Safety and Risk Management Consultant is responsible for providing safety, risk, and loss control consultation services to diverse clients. Key responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing and implementing tailored safety programs, conducting evaluations, and enhancing client safety cultures. The Consultant must possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of risk principles, and the ability to manage multiple client demands while delivering exceptional service. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience in loss control consulting, along with required safety certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years as a loss control consultant or equivalent experience
- Safety designation such as COSS, COHST, ARM, CRM, ASP, CSP
- Membership in a professional safety organization
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office and use of internet for research
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in training and presenting on safety topics
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must authorize enrollment in DMV driving records program
- Must have continuous access to a reliable vehicle for business travel
