Job Summary
Safety and Risk Engineer role across Australia focusing on delivering safety and risk engineering solutions for projects in Renewables, Datacentres, Defence, Oil and Gas and mining. Responsibilities include demonstrating knowledge of technical risk issues, providing technical direction to staff, coaching less experienced team members, collaborating with global capabilities to uplift process safety, and applying hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies within safety management systems and safety cases.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of Legislation, Regulations and Standards and regulatory approval pathways
- Technical competency in chemical or mechanical engineering to apply creative solutions to complex problems across all infrastructure industries
- Delivery of elements of safety management systems and safety cases
- Workshop facilitation or scribing through understanding and application of hazard identification and analysis methods
- Understanding and application of qualitative and quantitative risk-based studies
- Ability to perform systems safety assurance consulting activities in alignment to systems safety assurance requirements
