Safety and Health Specialist 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Provide guidance and leadership to the site's safety processes, investigate near misses and incidents within 24 hours, conduct safety and health audits, and deliver authorized training on topics such as Powered Industrial Trucks, Lockout Tagout, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, and Confined Space Entry. Maintain accurate data in accident, training, and corrective action databases, and support required monthly training completion. Requires 3+ years in an industrial environment, OSHA knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP a plus), bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends. Bachelor's degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of directly related experience in an industrial environment
- Ability to accurately record and communicate safety incidences to complex management
- Must have a solid knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience a plus
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Must be able to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or experience in lieu of degree.
