Job Summary
Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Safety and Health Program Manager to lead construction safety and health programs for a Cyprus-based project. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and managing site safety and health programs; conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions; delivering safety training and awareness programs; and maintaining safety records and regulatory documentation. The role requires ensuring compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and applicable safety regulations, coordinating with the project team, contractors, and workers to mitigate risks, and working on-site as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science/Technology, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with construction safety and health programs for similar projects
- OSHA-30 Hour Construction Training certificate
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Ability to work on site as project needs require
- Strong knowledge of safety rules, hazard control, and risk management
- Ability to prepare and provide lists of similar past projects (year, type, role, responsibilities)
