Job Summary
Planate seeks an experienced Safety and Health Program Manager to develop, implement, and manage site safety and health programs for a Cyprus construction project. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; ensuring compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and applicable safety regulations; investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions; delivering safety training and awareness programs; maintaining safety records, reports, and regulatory documentation; and coordinating with the project team, contractors, and workers to mitigate risks and maintain safe working conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science/Technology, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with construction safety and health programs for similar projects
- Completion of OSHA-30 Hour Construction Training course with valid certificate
- Able to work on site as project needs require
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Strong knowledge of safety rules, hazard control, and risk management
- Ability to prepare and provide list of similar past projects including project year, project type, role, and responsibilities
