Job Summary
Oversee a two-month construction project by identifying safety issues and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local, and owner requirements. Interpret safety standards and communicate findings in speech and writing to members at all organizational levels. Interface with diverse personalities while prioritizing workload and working independently to maintain high organizational standards. Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification and OSHA 30 certification, with OSHA 500 preferred. Perform duties requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally moving up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 30
- Able to pass a Background check/drug screen
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, use hands and arms, reach, and talk or hear
- Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds
- Must have accurate near and distant vision
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout an organization
- Strong writing skills with the ability to interpret safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with diverse personalities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
