Safety Advisor

Job Summary
Assess workstations and distribution activities to map risks and investigate hazards, translating findings into practical safety advice. Support new installations by providing clear, timely commissioning reports and strengthen prevention through incident investigations that identify root causes and propose recurrence measures. Collaborate with Distribution Directors, DC teams, and CPBW members to improve safety conditions across the ELC in line with Belgian Welfare Legislation. This role requires Level 1 certification or equivalent experience, fluent Dutch and English skills, and occasional availability outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Safety Expertise
- Level 1 certification
- at least three years of hands-on experience at Level 2
- Knowledge of Belgian welfare and workplace safety legislation
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- clear written and verbal communication skills
- Work Schedule Flexibility
- Available to occasionally support outside standard office hours when operational needs require it
Desired Qualifications
- Level 1 certification preferred
- experience in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of machine safety principles and how to apply them in an operational environment
- Ability to assess ergonomic risks and translate findings into clear, practical improvements
- Can facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders and translate complex information into clear, structured reports
