Job Summary
Oversee a construction project by identifying safety issues at the site and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local, and owner safety requirements. Communicate with members across all organizational levels to interpret safety standards and interface with diverse personalities. Prioritize workload while working independently to maintain high-level organizational skills. This role requires 3+ years of construction safety experience, a relevant academic degree, or 5+ years with BCSP certification, alongside First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Candidates must pass a drug test and background check. The position involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts up to 75 pounds. Core Safety Group is a nationwide safety management and loss control consultant.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years construction safety experience and Academic degree in safety
- 5+ years construction safety experience and BCSP Certification
- 6+ years construction safety experience and OSHA 500
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Must be able to pass drug test & background check
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds
- Accurate near and distant vision
