Job Summary
The Safer Gambling Analyst supports safer gambling operations by monitoring customer activity for signs of gambling-related harm, conducting interactions with customers identified via monitoring or escalations, handling third-party inquiries, guiding internal teams on safer gambling practices, and contributing to training, alert improvements, and reporting. The role requires strong communication, judgement under pressure, empathy in sensitive situations, and collaboration across customer-facing teams to protect customers while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. The position accommodates a remote-first, hybrid work model across Australia, with preferred candidates in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and offices available in multiple cities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in wagering, gaming, or a regulated industry environment
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills for sensitive conversations
- Experience using behavioral analytics and player protection tools
- Experience with ticketing or case management platforms
