Job Summary
Safeguarding and Complex Health Lead overseeing a dedicated caseload of mental health patients within a digital health platform focused on cannabis-based medicines. Provides expert clinical governance, safeguarding leadership, and MDT guidance; serves as a primary resource for clinicians on complex mental health queries, risk management, and safeguarding investigations; leads the integration of governance processes, training, and policy development to ensure safe patient care and high standards across the organisation. Role is hybrid with travel to London/Reading as needed, based in Winnersh, Berkshire (UK). Requires registration with NMC/HCPC/GMC/GPhC and at least 5 years of relevant clinical experience in complex mental health care.
Required Qualifications
- NMC/HCPC/GMC/GPhC valid and active registration
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience with focus on mental health care, complex risk assessment, and longitudinal case management
- Experience in safeguarding lead responsibilities within a healthcare setting
- Robust understanding of mental health medications, dual diagnosis, and long-term management of complex mental health patients
- Remote proficiency with digital platforms for video consultations and electronic patient records
