Job Summary
Safe Communities Coordinator responsible for first-point contact with tenants and victims, triaging anti-social behaviour reports, conducting risk assessments, setting up and supporting case management processes, safeguarding escalation, note-taking and project work, and supporting community engagement across multiple offices. Requires customer-facing experience, knowledge of social housing, ASB/domestic abuse, safeguarding, ability to build rapport with tenants, GCSE-level education, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role emphasizes empathetic and patient support for vulnerable individuals, multi-tasking in a busy environment, and collaboration with the Safe Communities team to deliver outcomes for tenants.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Knowledge of Social Housing, particularly anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and safeguarding
- Ability to build rapport with tenants
- A qualification in ASB/Community Safety - or a willingness to work towards one
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Empathetic and patient when supporting vulnerable individuals
- Confident in multi-tasking in a busy environment
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
