Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep machines running smoothly by troubleshooting minor issues to maintain production flow. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals and inspect finished products against quality standards. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with prior machinery operation skills. Full-time 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with overtime opportunities and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably
- Work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
