Job Summary
Lead a team of nine employees in managing taxation, commercial enterprises (BgA), and accounts receivable. Provide university-wide consultation on tax matters and oversee all commercial enterprises. Guide new tax projects and organizational changes while developing tax processes and compliance structures. Ensure legally accurate recording of all receivables, review tax assessments, and decide on legal appeals. Accompany tax audits and actively shape the responsibility area. Requires successful completion of a tax specialist training or comparable commercial education with a tax focus, multiple years of experience in German tax law and accounting, and initial leadership experience. Offers unlimited fixed-term employment under TV-L, with a salary range of 60,000 to 71,000 euros gross per year.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Steuerfachangestellter (m/w/d) oder eine vergleichbare kaufmännische Ausbildung mit ausgeprägtem steuerlichen Schwerpunkt
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Steuerrecht und Rechnungswesen, beispielsweise in einer Steuerberatung, Wirtschaftsprüfung oder in der Finanzabteilung eines Unternehmens
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im deutschen Steuerrecht
- Erfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Debitorenbuchhaltung bzw. Forderungsmanagement
- Erste Führungserfahrung oder Erfahrung als fachlicher Ansprechpartner (m/w/d) eines Teams
Desired Qualifications
- Idealerweise eine Weiterbildung zum Steuerfachwirt (m/w/d), Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- SAP-FI/CO-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil
