Job Summary
Conduct Before and After school programs for children, including Homework Time, enrichment activities, organized physical play, and snack time. Assist the Site Supervisor with supervision of all children, maintaining discipline per Child Abuse Prevention Policy and Code of Conduct. Build positive relationships by greeting families daily and motivate participation in program activities. Provide a safe environment by following emergency procedures, cleaning and disinfecting equipment per state requirements, and maintaining an orderly, stimulating space. Set up rooms before arrival and clean up after departure, keeping the Supervisor apprised of behavioral situations. Work full-time on-site Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying by school location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have High School Diploma or Working Papers
- Must have ability to learn and think quickly to solve child-to-child situations
- Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments
- Must be able to work 5 days a week
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
