Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Five Below responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, assessing needs with product knowledge, suggesting merchandise, informing customers about events and promotions, resolving issues to turn returns into exchanges, communicating needs to management, and collaborating with the team to meet store objectives. Must be able to operate the cash register, stock merchandise, assist with shelving and stockroom tasks, and work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts. Requires strong communication, basic information-gathering skills, and the ability to learn on-the-job in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions professionally
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
