Job Summary
Provide scientific services, support and problem solving to the regional manufacturing team to enable production delivery. The role spans Lifeblood’s operational divisions with a primary focus on supporting Manufacturing & Logistics workflows, delivering scientific expertise, troubleshooting test anomalies, equipment faults and deviations outside routine procedures, and contributing to local and national projects. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or AIMS registration, plus experience with lean manufacturing, GMP/GLP/NPAAC, and a strong customer focus with teamwork and time-management skills. The position is fixed-term full-time (38 hours per week) at Brisbane Processing Centre, with a work roster between 6AM–6PM and on-call hours. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or related discipline
- Registration with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) for internationally qualified applicants
- Experience with lean manufacturing processes
- Experience with GMP and GLP and NPAAC guidelines
- Strong commitment to delivering outcomes to required standards
- Collaborative working style and customer focus
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
