Job Summary
Lead planner on S&T projects under a Licensed Architect; drive programming, space planning, and concept development; lead user groups, communicate planning concepts to clients and project teams, develop documentation for construction, contribute to contract scope, integrate sustainable design, and support client relationships and marketing proposals. Requires a bachelor degree in Architecture/Engineering-related field, 8+ years of experience as SME on S&T projects, US licensure preferred, LEED preferred, strong client-facing communication, knowledge of building codes, proficiency with Revit/Bluebeam/Microsoft Office, and capacity to work in a senior, highly analytical role inSan Francisco with remote-work options.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required
- Must have prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on S&T projects
- Licensure or registration in the United States preferred
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must possess business acumen
- Must be a critical thinker
- Must be highly analytical
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required
