Job Summary
S&T Product Development Chemist, Senior responsible for developing global product platforms for Kitchenware and Industrial Bakeware coatings, including formula design, coating preparation/application, and testing against regional/global specs. Plan and conduct formulation, application and testing; analyze results to develop new product platforms; collaborate with regional labs, customers, and regions to incorporate needs; manage technical milestones, materials sourcing, regulatory evaluation, and testing; develop new test methods to accelerate coating assessments and simulate customer lines; build networks across commercial/technical teams, communicate results through reports and gate reviews; adhere to lab safety procedures and uphold high safety standards. Requires a degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science or Chemical Engineering; PhD preferred with 1+ years or MS with 4+ years of related formulation development; experience with DOE is desirable; travel up to 10%. Required Qualifications
- Requires a degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science or Chemical Engineering
- Preferred a Ph. D. Degree with 1+ years of relevant formulation development experience or a MS degree with 4+ years of relevant formulation development experience
- Relevant experience with experimental design (DOE) is desired
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and oral communication in English
