Job Summary
S&OP Manager role focused on aligning sales, operations, and financial strategies to optimize supply chain performance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing S&OP processes, coordinating regular cross-functional meetings, forecasting demand from historical data and market trends, balancing production with demand, guiding inventory optimization, collaborating with sales, customers, and finance to communicate financial implications, and generating detailed reports and recommendations for senior management. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and leadership across multiple departments to drive business growth in a rice-industry context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or equivalent
- Minimum 7 - 10 years’ Supply Chain experience
- CPG or FMCG industry experience is required
- Experience in a similar role with experience in demand and supply planning and inventory management
- Demand planning & supply planning accreditation/training preferred
- Strong project management skills and experience and an ability to lead and influence change
- Experience successfully managing and developing people
- Must possess a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to balance analysis with intuition to make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with SAP IBP or similar technology desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
