Job Summary
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes in partnership with Sales and Operations teams, preparing data for monthly meetings to drive decisions on forecasting, demand, and inventory planning. Facilitate collaboration with Product Development on new launches and PIPO, integrating customer forecasts, statistical models, and supply variability into a rolling 12-18 month demand estimate. Collaborate with Customer accounts to optimize portals for on-time delivery, identify supply-demand gaps, and recommend mitigation strategies. Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics to evaluate production plans against capacity and external factors. Track performance metrics to identify process improvements and assist sales with business planning while communicating trends to management. Report on S&OP best practices and validate planning assumptions.

- Integrate key processes including customer forecasts, statistical forecast models, targeted service levels, demand and supply variability & plans, product life cycle, operational capacities & capabilities
- Collaborate with key Customer accounts
- Identify gaps in supply and demand
- Lead the process for teams to recommend mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Sales, Operations and Customer Service
- Manage the aggregation of the demand plan process
- Producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate of future demand in units
- Assist in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the demand and supply plan
- Validate past assumptions
- Track performance metrics and analysis
- Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics/Distribution
- Ensure efficient communication across functional teams
- Assisting sales with business planning
- Communicating with local and corporate management
- Experience with multiple ERP's
- Experience with external planning software
- APICS / ASCM CPIM Certified
- Experience in the outdoor, recreational, or professional products
