Job Summary
Define structural and process changes to transition from AI pilots to enterprise-scale operating models, including Centre of Excellence design and cross-functional ways of working. Design pragmatic AI governance frameworks covering Responsible AI, model risk, privacy, and compliance, while establishing data stewardship policies, golden record strategies, and metadata management capabilities using platforms like Collibra and Alation. Lead discovery workshops with CIOs and CTOs to align stakeholders on strategic priorities, translate ambiguity into actionable roadmaps, and manage proposal responses for G2000 clients. Drive Data Capability Maturity Assessments and build value realisation frameworks for data transformations across industries such as Financial Services and Life Sciences.
Required Qualifications
- 14 to 20 years of experience
- MBA from a tier 1 institute
- 7 – 10 years of Strategy Consulting experience at a consulting firm
- 5+ years of experience on projects showcasing skills across AI operating model design, AI governance and Responsible AI, enterprise operating model design, org design, governance forums, policy and control frameworks, and broader data management exposure including data governance, stewardship, accountability, metadata, data catalog, lineage, and foundational MDM and data quality concepts
- Proven experience leading cross-functional discovery and design workshops, driving structured discussions to extract insights, align diverse stakeholders, and translate inputs into clear value propositions, recommendations, and actionable roadmaps
- Demonstrated consulting experience working with CIO, CTO, CDAO, and senior business stakeholders to shape transformation agendas, define target states, build executive-ready recommendations, and drive alignment on operating model, governance, and technology decisions
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing Data & Analytics strategy recommendations as well as developing POCs
- Knowledge of enterprise data architecture concepts through practical experience — Digital Core, Data Mesh, API-first, AI Centre of Excellence design
- Foundational understanding of data privacy (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA) and Responsible AI
- Strong understanding in any of the following industries: Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecom, Life Sciences, Transportation, Automotive/Industrial, or equivalent
- Experience in at least two MDM technologies — Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or equivalent
- Deep understanding of data supply chain and building value realisation frameworks for data transformations
- Experience in one or more technologies in the data governance space: Collibra, Alation, Talend, Informatica, SAP MDG, Stibo, Alteryx, or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Working exposure to one or more data management domains such as Data Governance, Master Data (MDM), Data Quality, Metadata Management, or Data Catalog is desirable, as a good-to-have capability supporting broader AI and data transformation programs
- Cloud Data & AI Practitioner Certifications (Azure, AWS, Google) desirable but not essential
- CDMP Certification from DAMA preferred
