Job Summary
Analyze system architectures, state machines, and functional designs to develop clear, traceable requirements. Create detailed test cases and validation procedures to verify system functionality while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Support system verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring all artifacts adhere to engineering best practices. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Embedded Systems Engineering required; familiarity with automotive or aerospace environments is a plus. Located in Dearborn, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Embedded Systems
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Electronics and Hardware Concepts
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Systems Engineering Principles
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Requirement Development and Analysis
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Testing and Validation Methodologies
- Ability to interpret state machines, flow diagrams, and system-level designs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to requirements management and test case development
- Familiarity with system modeling, functional specifications, or product development lifecycles
- Knowledge of automotive, aerospace, industrial, or embedded product development environments is a plus
