Job Summary

Ryder Rental Management Trainee Program offers an 18–24 month accelerated development across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing with hands-on training to prepare for a leadership role. Essential Functions include handling the sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation, generating rental/lease/used vehicle sales leads, managing rental asset processes (PM and cleanliness standards), meeting market share objectives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and resolving customer concerns to grow the customer base. The program emphasizes data accuracy in marketing systems, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to relocate within the US region after training. Strong verbal/written communication, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are valued. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required, with customer service experience preferred. The role is full-time and located in Chesapeake, VA.
