Job Summary
Palliative Care Physician needed to join RWJBarnabas Health at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. The clinician will provide inpatient and/or outpatient palliative care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participate in staff and community education, and contribute to a growing palliative care network. Board-eligible/board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required (fellowship training preferred); NJ licensure or eligibility is needed. Opportunities exist for new graduates as well as experienced physicians; compensation and benefits are competitive with a robust package, including health, life, disability, malpractice insurance, retirement plan, PTO, and CME time. The role emphasizes education of staff, trainees, and the community, with potential involvement in program development and regional collaboration within RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers University systems.
Required Qualifications
- MD (or equivalent)
- BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Fellowship training preferred
- NJ licensure or eligibility to practice in NJ
